my condition is hnpp we both were given birth in 1993..... here is our story....
I was born Feb 5 1993..I lived a normal childhood despite my challenges of tiring to keep up...my physical appearance seemed normal to most ,but I new at a young age I would have my own set of challenges to face in life. I would play everyday with my family and friends I would be out playing and I would always be falling down??Despite the dr.s checking things over and over again. I was just labeled as a clumsy kid,,well as I grew older and went through school i continued to stay active and even involved myself in sports. As time went on I began to have more fall, pain and limitations were becoming more apparent but than...On the night of November 28. 2006 my mother and I were doing the tour of the local high school during the night I was in extreme pain and my legs were weak. We were getting ready to go home I was sitting on a desk with my friend and my mom was standing in-front of me "mom can we call a cab?" I asked and said " I cant do it' mom unknowingly said " Kayla we live around the corner"
at that point we only knew one thing "use em or lose em"
a stuffed bear brought a smile to my face and helped me through it all. I'm a honor roll graduate and i don't plan to stop now and if my bear helped me so much why not make them for others because when someone smiles they have the will of a thousand man I want to give that to them like it was to me
